Load Planner-Intermodal

C.R. England, global transportation solutions provider, is hiring a Load Planner for its Intermodal Operation based in SLC, UT.

The Load Planner is at the very center of a fast-paced strategic environment. Our customers require individuals who think strategically and plan ahead of rapidly changing situations while maintaining a positive, team oriented attitude. Load Planners must be organized and engaged with the team.

The Load Planner will use logistical experience and expertise to plan shipper/rail pickups and receiver/rail deliveries with the utmost efficiency in their assigned region(s). Advanced knowledge of asset utilization, time/ distance and HOS regulations is required.

The ideal candidate is a professional with excellent communication, customer service, coaching, leadership and organization skills.

This job is highly demanding and requires patience and professionalism. Experience in the transportation industry is required. Intermodal experience preferred. Knowledge of AS400 IT systems, Microsoft Office and related tools are all preferred.
