Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager directs warehousing activities for the Sales Center, ensuring efficient and effective operations in accordance with company standards and policies. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to lift and move objects as described in the job duties below.

Job Duties:

1. Establish Operational Procedures:

- Develop and implement operational procedures for verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, handling products and materials, and maintaining warehouse inventory levels.

- Manage the disposition of outdated, damaged, or pilfered inventory in accordance with company policies.

2. Equipment and Facility Management:

- Inspect the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment regularly.

- Prepare work orders for repairs and requisitions for equipment replacement as needed.

3. Coordination and Collaboration:

- Collaborate with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with other functions such as production, sales, records control, and purchasing.

- Take a leading role in ordering products to maintain adequate inventory levels for business needs.

- Coordinate with Sales Center leadership regarding upcoming promotional events to ensure sufficient inventory availability.

4. Inventory Control:

- Count and verify inventory as required by company policy.

- Direct salvage of damaged or used materials as necessary.

5. Safety and Security:

- Participate in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities to maintain a safe work environment.

6. Other Duties:

- Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisors as needed.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in warehouse management or related field preferred.

- Strong leadership and organizational skills.

- Ability to lift and move objects up to 60 pounds unaided and exert force of 100 pounds with the aid of a manual lifting device.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
