We are seeking a dedicated water professional to join our established professional service business in Utah and partner with regional leaders to grow our water practice. This SENIOR WATER ENGINEER position is an exciting opportunity to leverage your client service and expertise to establish and build our water presence in the region.

We have an established client base with local municipalities, water purveyors and utilities and tribes in Arizona, Oregon, and Washington. This position has flexibility to work a hybrid schedule and will travel occasionally for client connection, team integration and to connect with our broader water team in support of the water division's key initiatives.

Focus of the Position

You are an experienced water engineer who can provide management, business development and project delivery:

Water Waste/Water Designs: Lead the design process, including the creation of plans, drawings, and specifications for water infrastructure projects.

Client Management and Business Development: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or issues that may arise during the design phase.

Collaboration and Leadership: Connect with other Parametrix engineers and designers in the development and execution of water-related projects. This may include assigning tasks, providing guidance, and meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineering License in Utah or ability to obtain.
  • 10+ years of progressive water/wastewater planning, design, and construction experience.
  • Strong understanding of design software tools for the water industry, including Revit and Civil 3D.
  • Strategic problem solver and strong communicator.

Base salary for this position is in the range of $125,000-$150,000+. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review. Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program. We are transparent in our salary discussions and look forward to sharing more about our compensation structure and the value of being an employee-owner.
