We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead a new business unit focused on driving the growth and expansion of the data business at Healthequity.As the General Manager, you will have primary responsibility for driving the growth and success of our data products and services.You will manage a team of product managers and business analysts and provide guidance to the engineering team.

Collaboration with the Head of Product Management, Sales and Marketing teams will be essential to drive business outcomes and achieve strategic objectives. The position will report directly to the EVP and CTO.

What you'll be doing

    Lead and inspire a team of product managers and business analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Provide strategic direction for the development and enhancement of our data products and services, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market demands.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team, guiding product development efforts and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Work together with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, optimize customer engagement, and drive revenue growth.
  • Provide support and guidance to the Sales team in promoting data products/services, including assisting with customer presentations, contract negotiations, and addressing customer concerns.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop impactful marketing campaigns and messaging that effectively communicate the value proposition of our data offerings.

What you will need to be successful

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and growing a business unit with data focus, delivering software product and services preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth, expand market share, and achieve financial targets.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding data trends, and technological advancements.
  • Experience managing and growing a team of product managers, business analysts, and other cross-functional staff.
  • Solid understanding of data management, data privacy regulations, and best practices in data security.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving business objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field; advanced degree in business or a relevant field preferred.
  • Prior experience with data analytics, healthcare data, or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving and achieving business growth in the range of 50-100 million is a strong plus.

Salary Range
$167000.00 To $275500.00 / year

The compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
